Cassie is a good-time girl with a great personality. You'll find Cassie wherever the action is. She trots to the door to greet you, loves to supervise whatever you're doing and chases any flying insect that gets inside. She, of course loves a good box and gets along well with her foster doggo. She spends lots of time looking out the window, follows her person around the house and goes nuts over the red laser dot. Cassie is very quiet- she doesn't meow or chirp. She entertains herself, plays with her feline sister, plays with the dog and plays with her humans. She'll rub noses with you, she likes to be pet, she sleeps in the bed between the people and you can pick her up but she is not a lap cat. Occasionally Cassie will grace us with her presence on our lap, but it is rare. 

Cassie and her sister Dahlia were born to a feral mom in a trailer park. Her left eye was removed due to untreated infections before coming to us. Cassie and her sister love each other and are bonded. They were overlooked by adopters as cute little kittens, timid and missing out on events due to Cassie's eye. 

Cassie and Dahlia turned one on October 1st, they are teenagers, should be adopted together and are ready for their forever family. They are a perfect pair- one is playful, much less timid and independent, while the other is more reserved, a snuggle bug and a talker. 

We think these girls will thrive in any home, with people who will provide the time needed to adapt. The best things are worth the wait.

When it comes to cats, two is better than one! They'll have a lifelong friend, they'll play together, learn from each other and remain socialized, making them less apt to develop any destructive behaviors out of boredom. 

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for kitties 6 months of age or older. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. 

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.
