Sweet Dahlia (Dolly, Dolls). She is a teenager as well as an old soul. Dahlia and her sister Cassie were born to a feral mom in a trailer park. They were on their own at a young age and we think Dahlia took on the role of protector. Her sister had horribly infected eyes and lost one as a result. When we got them they had spent their entire short life together, they love each other and are bonded. When we removed Cassie's eye they weren't kittens anymore and had been overlooked by adopters. Dahlia turned 1 on October 1st but there is plenty of playful and cute left in her. Being the protector, Dahlia is a little more reserved, trusts with time and is a much bigger love-bug than her carefree sister. She likes to nestle into a small spot in the chair next to you and loves to be pet. Neither "meow" but Dahlia is a talker and will chirp conversation as well as requests for play or treats. Dahlia sometimes sleeps with her person, nestled as close as she can; other nights she sleeps in her favorite chair. Dahlia plays alone, plays with her sister, with her little foster doggo and with her humans. She likes routine; waits while you shower, knows when it's bedtime and wakes you if you sleep too late. Cassie & Dolly are the perfect pair. One is playful, whimsical and loving but not much of a lap cat and the other is quieter, loves to snuggle and will steal your heart when you win her. We think these girls will thrive in any home, with people who will provide the time needed to adapt. Once Dahlia trusts you, she'll be yours forever. The best things are worth the wait. When it comes to cats, two is better than one! They'll have a lifelong friend, they'll play together, learn from each other and remain socialized, making them less apt to develop any destructive behaviors out of boredom.
